The goal of la Corde Youth Center, which is part of Youth Unlimited /Jeunesse Sans Limite, is to help youth of the Pierrefonds-Cloverdale community thrive and achieve academic success with the hope of breaking the cycle of poverty. Every weekday, 50 Cloverdale children frequent the centre, receiving breakfast, lunch, after-school homework assistance, life skills training and mentoring while learning about God’s love for them. Other activities include a summer camp, a Christmas Community meal, Back to school supplies, and practical assistance to families.

o Volunteer for after school help. Activity supervision & homework help is needed from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm Mondays to Thursdays. It is as easy as listening to a grade 1 student read a simple story to you or helping practice dictée words. Homework is in French.
o Donate breakfast food and snacks to Westview teams who serve the meals. Fruit, individual fruit cups, granola bars, jam, margarine, cream cheese, bread, bagels, waffles, muffins are some examples.
o Financial donations: one-time or monthly donations can be made to Montreal Youth Unlimited. Donations are tax-receiptable.
Our goal as a church is to support la Corde by volunteering or by giving, so that each child might receive breakfast and lunch each school day. We are excited to be used by God to help break the cycle of poverty for the kids of our Pierrefonds community. One at a time, child by child, family by family.
