Week of April 6
some new additions from some of our Elders…
Peter Kotiuga Recommends:
- Now is a good time to curl up to a good book, hopefully the Best Book, the Bible. For the last two weeks, I have been doing my Rapid Read of the Bible, a practice that I have been doing for the last three years. The aim is to read through the Bible quickly to get a refreshed overview on how it all ties together. I start in various sections of the Bible on a given day so that I will have a balance between the Old and New, the prophets, history and psalms, underlining key texts as they strike a resonant chord. My aim is to finish in four to six weeks. Happy reading.

- For health I have started tracking my food on an app. Life is usually so busy I don’t remember to so I’m taking advantage of all my meals being at home. How encouraging to drop a few pounds before summer! https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/lose-it-calorie-counter/id297368629
- I’m in a new virtual book club with my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law (we all live in different cities). We are going through “The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are” by Brené Brown
